Since 1985, the Dutch company GKB has developed user-friendly and innovative machines that are adapted to all types of sports surfaces. Being able to deep air, dress and stimulate root growth, which in the long run strengthens the entire grass plant, is important. With GKB Deep Tine Aerator, it becomes possible to fix compacted ground under grass surfaces, which is a common problem where you, for example, drive with heavy machinery to take care of the grass surfaces.
GKB DTA260 has a working width of 260 cm. The working depth is up to 40 cm, which provides enough depth to reach the foots of all types of golf and football grass. After deep aeration and dressing, rainwater can more easily pass through the profile and the air is now more easily led into the root structure, which provides conditions for healthier and tougher grass plants. You simply get an improved and more durable playing surface.
The machine is provided with a unique tine mounting system, so that it’s possible to quickly change to different tine sizes. With an adjustable 25-degree heave angle, the Deep Tine Aerator’s tine holding system allows you to take control on removing compaction.

GKB DTA 3-gears rotor
The DTA is equipped with a heavily constructed 3-stage gearbox. You easily adjust between gears 1-3 to adapt the speed of the rotor to the speed of the tractor. It then becomes easier to get the correct and consistent distance between the tine holes.
Hydraulic Height Adjustment.
The DTA210 and DTA260 models are a lot more heavy-duty and are used for the most intensive, most deep aeration (such as use by contractors), with a working depth of 40 centimeters. For these last deep aerators, you can easily set the desired penetration depth by means of a hydraulic height adjustment.
